In February, APG Federal Credit Union honored Susan Kemen, senior vice president of consumer lending, with an award presentation for 30 years of dedicated service to the credit union, and Barbara Poff, senior member service operation specialist, with an award presentation for 25 years of service.
In 1983, Kemen was hired as a part-time teller at APGFCU's Aberdeen Proving Ground branch. Over the years, she was promoted to collection department manager, consumer loan manager, senior vice president branch operations and most recently to senior vice president of consumer lending. In her current role, Kemen oversees and manages all aspects of consumer lending to provide interest income while minimizing risk and loss to the organization. She lives in Bel Air with her husband and two children.
Poff was hired in 1988 as a teller at APGFCU's Aberdeen Proving Ground branch and was later promoted to member service representative. Since then, Poff has held positions as member service center supervisor and assistant branch manager. In her role as senior member service operation specialist, Poff is responsible for servicing member inquiries, auditing branches for quality control and collecting information and forms for loan disbursals. She lives in Abingdon.
