Susan R. Stover has been promoted to assistant vice president, loan centers/sales, a new position at Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union.
Stover will oversee APGFCU's two new Cecil County loan centers. She will manage a staff of seven and report to the senior vice president OF consumer lending. The non-cash loan centers, called My Loan Center, will offer 24/7 ATMs and serve consumers in Cecil and Harford counties. Available loans include mortgages, home equity loans and lines of credit, vehicle loans, credit cards, personal loans and other consumer loans.
Stover joined APGFCU in 2000 as a branch manager and was promoted to vice president of lending support. In 2003, she transitioned to director of sales, where she created the credit union's service and sales culture and pioneered its outbound lending program. Stover brings more than 22 years of experience in the financial services industry to her new role.
She earned several business certifications from Harford Community College and volunteers for the Harford County Boys & Girls Clubs, SARC Inc. and Harford Family House.
