Katzen Eye Group expands to Harford

Management ChangeMergers, Acquisitions and Takeovers

In November, Harford County residents will have a new option for eye care as Katzen Eye Group, Maryland's largest private eye care practice, opens its first location in Bel Air.

In response to what the business sees as a growing demand for comprehensive eye care services in Harford County, Katzen Eye Group will open its fourth location in Central Maryland, according to a company press release. On Nov. 7, the practice will begin seeing patients at a temporary location at 3435 Box Hill Corporate Center Drive and will open the permanent location at 3401 Box Hill Corporate Center Drive in Spring 2012.

Katzen Eye Group's newest office will provide eye care services as well as glaucoma, retina, pediatric, oculoplastic and optical services.

"We have many patients from Harford County who travel to our other locations because they trust our doctors and value our services. With the opening of this new location in Bel Air, they will still receive the highest quality of services, but won't have to make the drive," Janna Mullaney, COO of Katzen Eye Group, said in the press release.

Appointments are being accepted for the Bel Air location. For more information or to make an appointment, send an email to BelAir@katzeneye.com or call 410-569-0707.
