RKS Realty Inc. recently added Richard "Dicky" Darrell and Joe Moran to the firm's team of expert Realtors, offering commercial and retail real estate services in Harford and Baltimore Counties.
"The addition of Richard and Joe to the firm allows for RKS to ensure our clients in Baltimore County, as well as Harford County, are met with the full breadth of our capabilities and expertise," RKS owner Donnell "Beetle" Smith said in a news release.
Darrell joins RKS Realty as a real estate broker with 40 years of commercial and retail real estate experience with an emphasis on national retail. He has developed, leased or managed more than 8 million square feet of commercial investment property in the Baltimore-Washington region throughout his career. Darrell also maintains experience developing highly successful grocery-anchored retail, big box retail and mixed-use projects for clients in the mid-Atlantic region.
Darrell most recently worked at Manekin developing relationships with retailers throughout Harford County. A graduate of Randolph Macon College with additional education from Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland, ICSC University of Shopping Centers, American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and Institute of Real Estate Management, Darrell also served as vice president for BTR Realty, Inc. and vice president for Erwin L. Greenberg & Associates. Darrell is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and remains a licensed real estate broker in Maryland and Virginia.
Moran has 24 years of residential and commercial real estate experience and holds a license in residential and commercial appraising. A graduate of West Virginia University, he has developed or assisted in the development of more than 300 residential building lots in Baltimore, Harford and Cecil counties. Moran also has experience in retail, office and multi-family projects. Most recently, Moran worked with brands such as Firestone and Texas Roadhouse, as well as a 225-unit senior housing project.

RKS Realty has experience with both the public and private sectors, from the planning stage of development through project completion. Most recently, RKS Realty added new retail space to its listings, at Joppa Road and Route 1, as well as 10-acres at the Forest Hill Airpark in Harford County. Working with both large and small businesses enables RKS Realty to be creative and execute effective strategies for clients. The professionals of RKS Realty also maintain community ties including memberships with organizations including the Route 40 Business Association, Harford County Chamber of Commerce and Army Alliance.
