Elizabeth Lynn McSpadden, daughter of Jay and Betsy McSpadden, of Havre de Grace, and Adam Joseph Hasenfus, son of Eric and Cheryl Hasenfus, of Rome, Maine, were married June 24 at the Kent Manor Inn on Kent Island.
The ceremony was performed by Harford County Circuit Court Judge Emory A Plitt Jr.
Megan Jollett, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacie McSpadden, sister-in-law of the bride, Leah Smith and Shauna Myles, sisters of the groom, Abbie Moyer, Kerri DiMartino, Angela Berger, Heather McHugh, Katie Quinzi and Kim Bageant , friends of the bride.
The flower girls were Tara and Paige Colburn, cousins of the bride.
The best man was Ryan Myles, brother-in-law of the groom. Groomsmen were Hardy McSpadden, brother of the bride, and Lenny Smith and Tim Jollett, brothers-in-law of the groom.
The ring bearer was Will Jollett, nephew of the bride.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Kent Manor Inn.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of C. Milton Wright High School. A graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, she recently received a second degree in occupational therapy. She is employed at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, N.C., and is pursuing a master's degree in occupational therapy at East Carolina University in Greenville.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Messalonskee High School in Rome, Maine, and a graduate of Cape Fear College in Wilmington, N.C. He is self employed while pursuing a degree in construction management at East Carolina University in Greenville.
