What a delightful surprise Roger and I had on Sunday. We had a visit from Janet and Bill Carter. Janet was the daughter of Herbert and Dorothy Sprankle, who lived next door to us for many, many years. Over those years we have become good friends, watching our children grow from tots to married adults with children. Janet and Bill were in town for Janet's 50th class reunion from Perryville High School. I couldn't get over how much she looked like her mother. We visited for about an hour and talked of old times and bragged about our children and grand-children.
