Easter Bunny meeting with Lions in Perryville Saturday

The Perryville Lions Club will be taking pictures of children, adults, or pets with the Easter Bunny on Saturday at the Perryville Outlet, Store 39, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donation of $5 each.

The all you can eat breakfast at Harmony Lodge will be on April 13 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Harmony Lodge 53 A. F. & A. M in Port Deposit were hosts at the Chapel Service at the Bonnie Blink Masonic Home of the Grand Lodge of Maryland in Cockeysville. Those Masons in attendance were Worshipful Master Dave Ewing and members Roger A. Southall Sr. and his wife Beverly, Dave Spangler and his wife Holly, Mitch Tolbert, Al Thomas, Frank Garland and Bill Yale and his wife June. The Masons invited the Daughters of Bethel 55, Port Deposit Jobs Daughters International to help with the Chapel service. The Daughters in attendance included Abby and Isabelle Keen, Sarah Roop, Ashley Caldwell, Blayze Miller, Courtney Spangler, Deborah and Dawn Wassmer. The adult members in attendance were the Bethel Guardian Holly Spangler, Associate Bethel Guardian Dave Spangler, Guardian Treasurer Pat Pelham, Guardian Secretary Melody Buchanan, Director of Epochs Susie Passwaters, Deputy Mary Lou Walter and parents, Margie Keen, Ken and Janice Wassmer and Joyce Caldwell.

Congratulations to James and Mihaela Ross on the birth of their daughter, Sophia Ava on March 14. Sophia weighted in at 9 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 22 inches.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church will celebrate Easter Festival Services Sunday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Mark April 7 at noon on your calendar for the Fight for Joey Bingo fundraiser to be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 201 Mt Royal Avenue in Aberdeen. Lunch will be provided.

The second annual Cody G. Richardson Relentless Run 5K and 3K fun walk will be June 1 at Perryville Middle School. This event benefits the Cody G. Richardson Memorial Scholarship Fund. Registration and Packet pick up starts at 8 a.m. with the runners taking off at 9 a.m. and walkers at 9:05. There will be a cash prize for the first place male and female finishers. There will also be first through third place awards. Donations can be mailed to Box 853, Perryville, MD 21903; please make checks out to the Cody G. Richardson Memorial Fund. Happy 63rd wedding anniversary to my mother and father in law Herb and Mary Lou Southall. They were married in Port Deposit on March 31.
