The Maryland Transportation Authority will hold two community open houses this month to offer drivers the opportunity to get information on and enroll in Hatem Bridge E-ZPass plans.
The first will be Wednesday, Feb. 15, 5–7 p.m., at the Havre de Grace Activity Center, 351 Lewis Lane. Snow date is Feb. 22.
The second will be Tuesday, Feb. 21, 5–7 p.m. at Perryville High School, 1696 Perryville Road. Snow date is Feb. 23.
Since there will not be a formal presentation, the public can arrive any time between 5 and 7 p.m.
The open houses will feature displays and materials about the new plans and details on the transition dates. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and help customers sign up for E-ZPass.
Those unable to attend the open house can avoid standing in line and enroll online at http://www.ezpassmd.com beginning Feb. 13 or go to the John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway E-ZPass Stop-in Center. Customers also can download an application or sign up for monthly e-mail updates at mdta.maryland.gov.
Because of limited parking and expected high customer volume at the Hatem Bridge, customers who chose to sign up at an E-ZPass Stop-in Center are urged to visit the JFK Highway center off I-95 Exit 93.
For added convenience, hours at the JFK center have been extended through September: Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
