Roger and I enjoyed a wonderful trip to Saratoga to spend the weekend with our daughter, Ruthie, grand-daughter, Hannah, and son-in-law Karl Ventela. We were able to celebrate Christmas with the family. The original plan was to go to Charleston, S.C., to spend Christmas with Roger and Sarah Southall, but Ruthie was sick and their plans were halted. So we finally went up and enjoyed Santa's visit with the family. At the same time we celebrated Ruthie's birthday with a trip to her favorite lunch spot "The Circus Café." The atmosphere is all circus-related. The specialty dessert is cotton candy. After eating dessert we all left with blue mouths. Hannah was blue all over her face, it was adorable.
Jack and Samantha Green we also up in the Adirondack Mountains on a skiing weekend. They didn't have too much fun with all the rain and fog that hit the area over the weekend.
Sue and Gene Kelso enjoyed the weekend in Ocean City, MD.
