Harford County Sheriff's deputies are searching for an Abingdon man who's been missing from his grandmother's home for two weeks.
Laron Tavonte Bell, 22, was last seen on Saturday, Sept. 8. He lives with his grandmother in the 3700 block of Trailwood Court in Abingdon.
"We are concerned for his well-being at this point," Capt. Jim Eyler, a spokesman for the sheriff's office, said Thursday. "There is no explanation for his unexpected disappearance."
The father of a 4-year-old, Bell is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and when he was last seen, he was reported to be wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
"He just missed his daughter's birthday in the last two days," Eyler said earlier this week. "We're very concerned based on the amount of time he's been away from his family. There's been absolutely no contact of any kind with any of his family members."
Police are hoping someone has seen Bell and will call with his whereabouts. They issued a missing person flier over the weekend, but didn't get any leads from the public.
"They have no idea where he could possibly be," Eyler said.
