A Pennsylvania man has been charged with indecent exposure after an incident at an Abingdon adult bookstore.
Jeffrey Muehlmatt, 53, of the 200 block of Kunkle Road in Fawn Grove, was charged Feb. 13 with indecent exposure after he allegedly exposed himself the day before at the Bush River Books & Movies in the 3900 block of Pulaski Highway, according to charging documents.
Harford County Sheriff's Office deputies were conducting a patrol check of the business and when they entered the movie theater portion of the building, found Muehlmatt, who allegedly had his zipper down while sitting on a couch. Next to him were another man and woman, according to charging documents.
Where he was sitting, deputies said, Muehlmatt could be seen by the public at the front entrance of the theater, according to charging documents. He was transported to the Harford County Detention Center and released the same day.
Deputies have increased patrols at local adult bookstores in recent months after complaints about increased activity from nearby residents. Several people have been arrested at Bush River Books and Movies, including a Catholic priest whose trial in Harford County District Court scheduled for Tuesday morning was postponed. A new date has not been rescheduled.
