McDaniel College has announced it will be closed Monday as well, also due to the impending arrival of the  hurricane.

Carroll County government offices will also be closed Monday — though essential personnel are to report to work.  All county facilities will be closed, including Northern Landfill.

But while county offices close, the Carroll County Emergency Operations Center became fully activated on Sunday.
