Women's Intuition Vs. Men's Gut Feelings — Which Is Better?

Everything is intuitive these days

I don't do intuitive.

I'd like to do intuitive, but something tells me it would not be a good idea.

This is unfortunate because we live in an increasingly intuitive world, one in which everything is intuitive including intuition.

When it comes to intuition, I'm not saying the light doesn't occasionally go on for me. But in most cases it's like waiting for CL&P.

There are two main types of intuition: human intuition and technological intuition.

Women are said to posses a superior intuition (women's intuition), an almost psychic — and somewhat frightening — knack for knowing what others are feeling and thinking. Experts say this intuition is based on an ability to read facial expressions and body language.

I don't know about any of that but I do know my wife cannot only tell when I'm lying, but when I'm even thinking about lying. In fact, she often knows what lie I'm planning to tell before I even think it up.

Obviously, women's intuition makes relationships much more difficult then they have to be.

Men don't have a male intuition, men have gut feelings.

A gut feeling is when a man has this nagging inkling that he shouldn't do something, but then, of course, does it anyway. A synonym for gut feeling is counterintuitive.

While men may have doubts about their gut feelings, they are steadfast believers in their male intuition when it comes to getting from any Point A to any Point B. This is why men never stop to ask for directions. Wherever they may be, men to a man, believe they know exactly where they are.

Technological intuition is similar to relationship intuition in that it also centers on knowing which buttons to push to achieve a desired response.

People who have a good relationship with computers are said to have an intuitive understanding of them. This is a fancy way of saying they know how they work. There is a difference between knowing how something works and what makes something tick.

Having an intuitive understanding of computers is much less complex than having an intuitive understanding of a significant other.

This is because the more you know about someone, the less you understand them.

Also, people don't come with Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
