Finksburg Library, 2265 Old Westminster Pike, will host "Remembering 9/11," on Monday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m., for ages 11 to adult.
Shiloh Middle School teacher Michael Chrvala and his students share experiences of their annual journey to Ground Zero to meet families of many of the fallen firefighters who perished on Sept. 11, 2001. All are invited to attend and discuss the stories of his students.
Chrvala's commitment to remembering the legacy of 9/11 earned him the Tribute World Trade Center Visitor Center's teacher award in 2008-2009.
