The fifth annual Clothed With Compassion youth fashion show — a benefit for the Shepherd's Staff back-to-school drive — is being held Sunday, Aug. 5, beginning at noon at Jubilee Hall at Westminster United Methodist Church, at the corner of Center and Main streets, Westminster.
The event, designed to be a fun afternoon that supports a community project, is hosted by the Youth Group of Westminster United Methodist Church, whose members model gently used clothing for students in grades kindergarten through the 12th grade.
Admission is by donation of new school clothing for boys or girls, ages 5 to 10. In addition, donations of school supplies, new backpacks and children's books in good condition will also be accepted.
All supplies — and the donated clothing — will be given to the Westminster-based Shepherd's Staff, which is in the midst of its annual drive to help families in need prepare for the new school year.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and a light lunch will be provided by the Westminster United Methodist Women. There will also be a silent auction.
For more details, or to donate to Shepherd's Staff outside the fashion show, call Brenda Meadows, at 410-857-5944.
