Maiden Choice Lane, 600 block, 3:31 p.m., April 15. Cast iron pipes stolen from nursing home.
Edmondson Avenue, 5500 block, 9:02 p.m., April 14. Police report that person with a gun wearing ski mask and black clothing entered Family Dollar at closing, told cashier to empty register into plastic bag and told other employees to get on the ground. Another person wearing a ski mask, black hoodie and gray pants entered the store as the first person left. The two fled westbound on Edmondson Avenue on foot.
Edmondson Avenue, 5600 block, 7 a.m., April 14. Police report father struck son multiple times, leaving visible injuries. Man arrested and charged with second-degree child abuse.
Garden Ridge Road, 200 block, between 6:30 p.m., April 3 and 11 a.m., April 13. Electrical motors stolen from garage of residence.
Ingleside Avenue, 1000 block, 3-5:30 p.m., April 11. Woman walking with a man was force into an alley where he tried to remove her pants and exposed himself to her. Woman fled.
Kilmarnoch Drive, 6600 block, between 12:30 p.m., April 5 and 1 p.m., April 9. Lock missing from shed of residence. String trimmer, leaf blower, hedge clippers and gas can stolen.
Ingleside Avenue and Edmondson Avenue, 12:09 a.m., April 9. Police report three men approached man at bus stop, told him to empty his pockets and hit him in the face. Cell phone, ID, money and cigarettes stolen. Three later arrested. One charged with robbery, theft, second-degree assault and destruction of property.
