The popular Mt. Washington Tavern has posted on its website that it will reopen in November, a year after it burned down in a two-alarm fire.
Crews have been working on rebuilding the eatery, located in the Mt. Washington Village, for several months.
The fire — the source of which was ruled "not fully ascertainable" — devasted the building early in the morning on Oct. 31, collapsing the roof of the sky bar and blowing out windows. Most of the structure has been rebuilt.
Pictures of the construction progress at the Tavern were posted on its Facebook page earlier this week, and show that many of the elements enjoyed by patrons will return.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
