Alicia Murphy of Parkton is an award-winning horse trainer. Several of her horses will run in upcoming Grand National Steeplechase and Maryland Hunt Cup races. Murphy has trained Private Attack for the past 10 years and in 2011, he won both the Hunt Cup and Grand National. Read the story here.

Steeplechase
Alicia Murphy hoses down On the Corner after some morning exercises on April 4. Murphy, of Parkton, trained Private Attack, the horse that won last year's Hunt Cup and Grand National. In 2010, Murphy was named the leading trainer at the Maryland Steeplechase Association's Maryland Governor's Cup awards.
