I really don't expect the Catonsville Times to publish anything that might lend credence to the charge that President Barack Obama's words and deeds arguably warrant his being impeached (see Article III, Section 3 of the Constitution of the United States).
So I understand why the editorial in recent edition ("World now sees championship city we know so well," Catonsville Times, Feb. 6) is an irrelevant, cotton-candy tribute to Baltimore's professional sports teams. It's timely and fills all of the letters space available.
Better than commenting on things that will have a profound and lasting effect on every Catonsville resident — their children, present and future, and grandchildren right?
Things such as our government's obligating Catonsville residents to help pay for F-16 jet fighters and Abrams tanks, provided to the now anti-American, Muslim Brotherhood-controlled Egyptian government; Obamacare's increased taxes and fines; and a mind-boggling national debt of over $16,000,000,000,000 that gets bigger every day.
What happens in Washington affects all of us, living here in Catonsville, and we better start talking about it now in the Catonsville Times.
