This meeting is devoted to giving local small business owners the tools to help them concentrate their focus and energy and build their business.

Susan Katz, the Growth Coach of Baltimore, is guest speaker.

Susan is a well-known and respected business coach who helps business owners discover the vision and confidence they need to be successful. Her presentation will help guests discover what it is within themselves that holds them back from networking successfully.

She will provide the tools to help business owners become the confident and self-assured spokesperson for their business they want to be.

In addition to this dynamic presentation, The Candlelight Inn will provide a delicious lunch that includes meatballs, chicken strips, crab dip and a house salad.

This event is open to the public and a wonderful way to learn about the Catonsville chamber.

Cost is $20 for members pre-paid, $25 at the door and $35 for nonmembers.

To learn how to define, differentiate and distinguish your business from the competition, join us for a free workshop on building business buzz June 12 in Towson.

The workshop, led by two of Maryland's foremost economic development marketing experts, is designed to help business leaders and owners adopt proven marketing methods and practices to drive people to their business.

Tracy Gosson, president of the Sagesse marketing firm, and Andrea Vernot, marketing and communications for the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development, will lead the session, which begins at 8 a.m. at the Sheraton Baltimore North/Towson, 903 Dulaney Valley Road.

Business owners will learn practical strategies for strengthening their business by creating an identity, increasing visibility and traffic and expanding customer reach.

The workshop will included a buffet breakfast.

The event is free to chamber members, but pre-registration is required to participate. Nonmembers pay $25.
