Join the Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce for a morning of productive networking along with a delicious breakfast March 21 as the chamber joins the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber and the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce in hosting a Joint Power Networking Breakfast.

The two-hour event at Overhills Mansion in Catonsville, 916 South Rolling Road, also features the 90-Second Speed Networking program.

The program, back by popular demand, is a fun way to exchange those business cards and is guaranteed to provide guests with great business connections as members of three different chambers meet.

Cost for the 7:30-9:30 a.m. is $25 pre-paid and $45 at the door.

The chamber will host its second "Good for Business" breakfast meeting 7:30 a.m. March 30 at the Knights of Columbus, 1010 Frederick Road.

This month's topic is how to use social media to promote your small business.

A panel of experts will help members and non-members wade through the sea of social media options, from Facebook and Twitter to Linkedin and blogging.

The event is open to the public.

Deadline for nominations for the Catonsville Outstanding Teachers Awards is March 26.

Taste of Catonsville

The chamber will host the 16th Annual Taste of Catonsville on Monday, April 16, at Rolling Road Golf Club, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The area's finest restaurants, caterers and bakeries are featured at this year's event, so don't miss sampling their signature dishes.

New May event celebrates spring

The chamber is launching a new event this spring with a Catonsville Flower Fest and Garden Party scheduled for May 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Egges Lane.

This spectacular flower mart and mini crafts festival will include beautiful potted spring flowers, garden plants, displays from local master gardeners, gifts forMother's Day, a spring bonnet contest, and delicious food and music.

This Sunday event also marks the return of the chamber's Sunday Farmers Market.

The two events will run simultaneously, making Frederick Road in Catonsville the place to be to celebrate the arrival of spring.
