Baltimore County police have arrested a man in connection with the Tuesday morning stabbing of an 18-year-old woman in the Lansdowne area.
Austin Taylor Davis, 24, of the unit block of Twin Circle Way, has been charged with first-degree assault and burglary for stabbing his sister in the arm, said Capt. John Spiroff, the commander of the Wilkens Precinct.
Davis turned himself in at the station at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, said Lt. John Rossbach at the Wilkens Station.
Spiroff said it was a domestic dispute between the siblings, but could not provide more specific information as the investigation was ongoing.
Davis said he lived at the residence where the incident took place, according to Spiroff.
The stab wound to the woman's arm was deep enough to require medical attention so she was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center, Spiroff said.
Police believe the woman had been released from the hospital as of 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher said a police aviation unit began a search for the man responsible for the stabbing shortly after they received a call at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday.
