Arbutus fire-rescue log: Volunteers respond to overdose victim in Catonsville

Among the 58 calls for medical and fire-rescue service received by the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department during the period Oct. 7-14 were the following:

Southland Road, 2100 block, 8 p.m. Oct. 13. Crews responded to the report of a person having a seizure in Woodlawn. One critically ill patient taken to a local hospital.

Hilltop Circle, 1000 block, 2:04 p.m. Oct. 10. Crews responded to the report of a person having fallen on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. One person with non-life-threatening injuries taken to a local hospital.

Circle Drive, 1200 block, 1:59 a.m. Oct. 10. Crews responded to the report of a person having trouble breathing in Arbutus. One seriously ill person taken to a local hospital.

Newburg Avenue, 200 block, 9:11 a.m. Oct. 9. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Catonsville career station responded to the report of an overdose victim in Catonsville. One seriously ill person taken to a local hospital.

Mineral Avenue, 5700 block, 9:57 a.m. Oct. 8. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Halethorpe career station responded to the report of a person having fallen in Halethorpe. One person with non-life-threatening injuries taken to a local hospital.
