Among the 61 calls the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department received for medical and fire-rescue service Sept. 25-Oct. 2 were the following:

Frederick Road at Wade Avenue, 3:51 p.m. Sept. 28. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Catonsville, Halethorpe and Westview career stations responded to the report of a building fire in Catonsville and found smoke from a crematorium.

800 South Rolling Road, Community College of Baltimore County, Catonsville campus, 1:25 p.m. Sept. 27. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Catonsville career station responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident with injury. One person with non-life-threatening injuries taken to a local hospital.

Washington Boulevard, 4700 block, 9:46 a.m. Sept. 27. Crews responded to the report of a person having trouble breathing in Halethorpe and transported a seriously ill person to a local hospital.

5001 Washington Boulevard, Diageo Global Supply Inc., 1:43 p.m. Sept. 26. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Halethorpe career station responded to the report of a person having chest pains in Halethorpe. One seriously ill person transported to a local hospital.

Virginia Avenue, 2700 block, 9:25 a.m. Sept. 26. Crews from the English Consul, Arbutus and Lansdowne volunteer stations responded to the report of a person suffering an overdose in English Consul. One seriously ill person transported to a local hospital.
