Fire-Rescue Log: Arbutus volunteers respond to call for person fainting at Lansdowne Wal-Mart

Among the 65 calls for medical and fire-rescue service the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department received during the period Feb. 3-10 were the following:

Washington Boulevard, 3600 block, 3:54 p.m. Feb 6. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Halethorpe career station responded to the report of a person having chest pains at the Wal-mart in Lansdowne Station. One critically ill person taken to a local hospital.

Sulphur Spring Road, 1300 block, 1:02 p.m. Feb. 6. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Halethorpe career station responded to the report of a person having a seizure in Arbutus. One seriously ill person taken to a local hospital.

Maiden Choice Lane, 700 block, 10:09 p.m. Feb. 5. Crews responded to the report of a person having trouble breathing in Catonsville. One critically ill person taken to a local hospital.

Rawlings Well Road, 1500 block, 10:25 a.m. Feb. 5. Crews from the Arbutus and English Consul volunteer stations and Garrison and Westview career stations responded to the report of a person fainting in Westview. One seriously ill person taken to a local hospital.

Leeds Avenue at Knecht Avenue, 12:54 p.m. Feb. 3. Crews from the Arbutus and Violetville volunteer stations and Catonsville and Halethorpe career stations responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident with possible injuries in Arbutus and only found property damage.
