Among the 60 calls the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department received for medical and fire-rescue service during the period Jan. 20-27 were the following:

Poplar Avenue, 1300 block, 1:19 a.m. Jan. 26. Crews responded to the report of a person having a seizure in Arbutus and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.

Sulphur Spring Road, 1400 block, 10:51 p.m. Jan. 25. Crews responded to the report of a fire of unknown origin in Arbutus and extinguished a small rubbish fire.

Bloomsbury Avenue, 400 block, 7:36 a.m. Jan. 25. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer department and Catonsville and Halethorpe career stations responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries in Catonsville. No injuries found.

Linden Avenue, 1100 block, 10:21 p.m. Jan. 22. Crews responded to the report of person going into cardiac arrest in Arbutus and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.

Summit Hill Court, unit block, 3:41 p.m. Jan. 22. Crews responded to the report of a person having a stroke in Catonsville and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.
