Kristine and Dan Trader
Glen and Katherine Stone, of Parkville, announce the marriage of their daughter, Kristine Stone, to Dan Trader, son of Miriam and Hugh Trader III, of Baltimore.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in human services from Stevenson University.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in digital art and design from Towson University.
The ceremony was held at Turf Valley Country Club. The bride's uncle, Pastor Jeff Wilson, of Roanoke, Va., officiated. Jennifer Stone served as the maid of honor. Tim Graul served as the best man. A reception followed at the club.
The couple honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise and currently live in Towson.
Alba and Anthony Azola
Alba Burgos and Max Miranda, of San Juan, Puerto Rico, announce the marriage of their daughter, Alba del Mar Miranda, to Anthony Azola, son of Lone and Marty Azola, of Baltimore, on May 28, 2011.
The bride is a graduate of the Ponce School of Medicine, in Ponce, Puetro Rico. She is currently employed as an otolaryngology resident at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
The groom is a graduate of Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, Va. He is currently employed as the vice president of Azola and Associates, Inc.
A ceremony was held in San Juan. Armando Rodriguez officiated. Nicole Kaipust served as the maid of honor. Mathew Azola served as the best man. A reception followed at Casa de Espana, in Old San Juan, Puetro Rico.
The couple honeymooned in Italy and currently reside in Lutherville.
Shannon and Chase Gahan
Judy and Bob Worthington, of Cockeysville, announce the marriage of their daughter, Shannon Worthington, to Chase Gahan, son of Arleen and Shaine Gahan, of Cockeysville, on July 9, 2011.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame Prep; a 2007 graduate of the University of Maryland; and a 2010 graduate of Towson University. She is currently employed as a fifth grade teacher at Pinewood Elementary School.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Loyola Blakefield; and a 2008 graduate of Georgetown University. He is currently employed as a certified public accountant at KPMG accounting firm.
A ceremony was held at Marikle Chapel at Notre Dame of Maryland University. Father Jack Dennis officiated. Lauren Little served as the maid of honor. Danny O'Hara served as the best man. A reception followed at The Mansion at Valley Country Club.
The couple honeymooned in Islamorada, Florida, and currently reside in Cockeysville.
Katherine Lawler and Christopher Broughton
George Lawler and the Hon. Theresa Lawler, of Timonium, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Anne Lawler, to Christopher Shane Broughton, son of Linda Lee Bullock, of Parkville, and James Kenneth and Jo Ann Broughton, of Reisterstown.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, , in Notre Dame, Ind., where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and psychology; and a 2008 graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, in Syracuse, N.Y., where she earned a law degree. She is currently employed as a civil litigation attorney in private practice with MacDonald Law Group, in Beltsville.
The future groom is a 2007 graduate of Towson University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in business management. He is currently employed as a logistics broker for Cowan Systems, in Lansdowne.
An August 2012 wedding is planned at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame. The couple will live in Baltimore.
