The Arbutus Fourth of July celebration will kick off at 8 a.m. with a 10-kilometer race and culminate with a parade in downtown.
8 a.m. — Firecracker 10-kilometer race begins and ends at Arbutus Middle School, 5525 Shelbourne Road
9 a.m. — Children's games at Arbor Manor Park, 1211 Elm Road
9 a.m. — Soap box derby at Elm and Oakland roads
12:29 p.m. — Flyover by Maryland Air National Guard
12:30 p.m. — Parade begins at Sulphur Spring Road and East Drive and proceeds on East Drive to Linden Avenue
