The summer season is in full swing, as is the series of free weekly outdoor concerts in the Catonsville area.
July 26: Westview Park Summer Concert Series continues with the TNT Steel Drum Band.
The music from the Caribbean starts at 7 p.m. in Westview Neighborhood Park, at the corner of Chesworth and Gilston Park roads.
Music fans should bring chairs, blankets and picnics to the free Thursday evening event, which is sponsored by the Edmondson-Westview Recreation and Parks Council, and the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks.
July 27: Frederick Road Fridays series will feature The Gigs, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The music of groups such as Beatles, Birds, Jethro Tull, Searchers, Rolling Stones, Doors, Kinks and Commodores, will be performed on stage at Egges Lane, next door to the Catonsville Fire Department, 756 Frederick Road.
The Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce series is now in its fifth season.

July 28: The monthly series of summer concerts at the Benjamin Banneker Park and Museum features the Dyra Wolf Project performing at 6 p.m. on the museum grounds, 300 Oella Ave.
Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Tickets available for $20 donation for adults, $15 for children. Proceeds support the museum's educational and community programs.
July 28: Lurman Woodland Theatre weekend series features The Tommy Lepson Band performing a mix of rock and soul.
The four-piece band from Kensington, Maryland, has won numerous awards from the Washington Area Musicians Association.
July 29: Lurman Woodland Theatre weekend series features the Annapolis Bluegrass Coalition.
The Annapolis-based band features the sounds of banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and bass fiddle.
Saturday and Sunday shows are 6-8 p.m. in the natural setting off Hilltop Road on the Catonsville High School campus.
Fans should bring chairs or blankets. Bench seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Food and drinks available for purchase or fans can bring their own.
No alcohol, grills or pets.
Donations accepted to support the annual summer series.
