Pancake-eating contest

Dana Verona, left, of Federal Hill takes a picture with her roommate, Colleen Evans, 30 minutes into the pancake-eating contest at Pete's Grille. Verona has never entered a food challenge before, but says that she ate at Pete's Grille every morning on her way to campus while she studied at Loyola University.
