Dream house or house of horrors?
By Emily Christianson, Noelene Clark, Todd Martens, Jevon Phillips and Nardine Saad
We've seen it before. A nice family moves into an idyllic house, only to find there are a few skeletons in the closet. Such is the case in "Dream House" (above), about Will Atenton (Daniel Craig) and his wife Libby (Rachel Weisz), who relocate from New York to a quiet New England town with their two daughters. Soon they learn of a haunting mystery surrounding their home: a mother and two children were murdered there years earlier. "Dream House" joins a long list of bloody bad real estate on film. From "Beetlejuice" to "Poltergeist," we look back at the deadliest dwellings on screen. |
