Jack Wagner, The Bold and the Beautiful

Jack Wagner, 'The Bold and the Beautiful'

Jack Wagner has portrayed sailor turned suitor Domenic Marone on "The Bold and the Beautiful" since 2003. Wagner is certainly no stranger to daytime television. He originated the role of Frisco Jones on ABC's "General Hospital" in 1983 and then made his way in 1991 to NBC's "Santa Barbara," where he portrayed Warren Lockridge. In between that role and his B&B role, Wagner became a household name in prime time as Dr. Peter Burns on the nightime sudser "Melrose Place."

But it's his role as the debonair Nick Marone that has won over the hearts of millions of daytime fans. Wagner brings a much-needed sense of humor to a show that has way too much drama going on. Unfortunately, it was Wagner's Nick who was involved in the drama in 2007. His one true love, Brooke, went back (once again) to her on-again/off-again boyfriend, Ridge. Always wanting a family of his own, Nick fell in love with the beautiful Taylor Forrester, they married, she became pregnant, but unbeknownst to everyone, Taylor was carrying the egg donated by Nick's true love, Brooke.

Wagner's portrayal of the tortured hero is picture-perfect. Our seductive sailor brings a down-to-earth quality to his role. Women fall in love with him and guys want to go and have a beer with him. It is a testament to Wagner's talent and longevity in the role that we all want Nick to finally find the happiness he deserves. Nominated for his role as Nick in 2005, this guy has the tapes to pull off another nomination this year, and even a much-deserved win.
