Boundaries:According to the City Planning Department, the harbor is bounded on the north by Lombard Street, to the east by Gay Street and on the south by Key Highway. The angled western border consists of Greene and Paca streets.

Hand him a souvenir mallet purchased at one of the shops in Harborplace and a complementary duck bill noisemaker from Ride the Ducks and let the mayhem ensue.

Snack-snatching seagulls: Keep a firm grip on your pretzels and crab cakes.

A long walk off a short promenade: Watch your step. Along the Harborplace promenade there's no barrier to keep daydreamers from walking straight into the potentially toxic water.
