Dreyfus was nominated as best actress both in film and TV comedy by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
The film nomination came for her work in "Enough Said," while the TV nod was for "Veep," the HBO political satire that features Louis-Dreyfus as Vice President Selina Meyer,
"House of Cards," the Netflix political thriller, picked up four major nominations. They are for best drama, best lead actor in a drama (Kevin Spacey), best lead actress (Robin Wright) and best supporting actor (Corey Stoll).
The Netflix production topped all TV series with four nominations.
"Veep" was nominated in the category of "Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Series." And Louis-Dreyfus, an Emmy winner in the role, was nominated as best comedy actress.
Earlier this month, "Veep" was also nominated in the "Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television: Comedy" category by the Producers Guild.
Kevin Spacey, star of "House of Cards," was nominated Wednesday by SAG as best lead actor in a drama series for his work in the Netflix production.
"House of Cards," which was not nominated as best drama by SAG, was given a nomination as "Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television: Drama" by the Producers Guild.
