It's going to be dueling Ravens in late night Thursday with Jacoby Jones on Jimmy Kimmel and John Harbaugh on David Letterman.
Both shows air at 11:35 p.m. -- Kimmel on ABC and Letterman on CBS.
Talk about TV suddenly paying national attention to the Ravens in the wake of their Super Bowl victory Sunday. For years, no one had them on the national shows. Now they are being counterprogrammed against each other.
Monday night, Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco, did an impressive turn on Letterman, who came calling for more with the Harbaugh booking. Not to be left behind in his new, earlier, more competitive time period, Kimmel got himself a Raven too.
Who is next? Does anyone dare book Ed Reed to sing?
Here's the release from ABC:
Fresh off the big win, Jacoby Jones of the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens will make his late night debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” TOMORROW, THURSDAY FEBRUARY 7. The star wide receiver will visit Kimmel to discuss setting a Super Bowl record and taking the Vince Lombardi Trophy home to Baltimore.
Additional guests joining tomorrow evening’s broadcast include two McGraws -- Dr. Phil McGraw and musical guest Tim McGraw. Tune in to ABC at 11:35 p.m., ET.
I would kind of like to see Ray Lewis with Dr. Phil. Or, maybe, Terrell Suggs.
