'As Goes Janesville'( Courtesy of 371 Productions / August 13, 2012 )
Outside the General Motors plant in Janesville, Wisconsin, for a documentary three years in the making on what's happening to the middle class in America today. Yes, this is Paul Ryan's hometown. And this film is not to be missed. It will premiere Nov. 5. And if MPT and WETA don't air it or they bury it at some godforsaken time, I am going to be all over them. I promise. This is part of the "Independent Lens" series, which has not received anywhere near the respect it deserves from some PBS stations like MPT.
