Sharon and Lexie Love, mother and sister of Yeardley Love, who was murdered by an ex-boyfriend, will be interviewed Thursday on "Katie," the new syndicated show hosted by former CBS anchorwoman Katie Couric.
The program will focus on dating violence, with the interview of Sharon and Lexie Love described as the "centerpiece" of the hour.
"Katie" debuted Sept. 10 to impressive ratings, topping all other new daytime syndicated talk shows. The test will be whether or not Couric can hold onto the audience that tuned in to check out the big-name newcomer.
Earlier this month, Notre Dame Preparatory School in Towson dedicated Yeardley Love Field to the memory of its graduate who was murdered in 2010 by a lacrosse player at the University of Virginia.
In Baltimore, "Katie" airs at 4 p.m. weekdays on WMAR-TV (Channel 2).
