No debate on the best and worst TV presidential-debate moderators

Winning and losing moderators from Megyn Kelly and Anderson Cooper, to Becky Quick and John Harwood.

The Republican presidential debates have become one of the most lucrative franchises on television.

Only NFL football has been more lucrative and higher rated week in and week out. For cable news channels, ranging from CNN to CNBC, the debates have been an absolute dollar bonanza.

And with another debate arriving Thursday night on Fox Business Network, it's time to rank the moderators.

It is not so much a case of who soared and who stunk as it is who helped viewers get the kind of information they need to make more informed choices with their presidential votes - and who didn't.

(Although, some moderators, like the ones on CNBC, really did stink.)

Here's my scorecard of the five best and five worst so far.
