But the press doesn't like be called out that way, and you can see that in some of the reviews attacking Sunday's pilot for being sanctimonious and self-righteous. I love the righteousness of this series -- self or not.
But there are some reviews out there that I don't respect so much, like the one Jake Tapper did for The New Republic, which I see many bloggers citing. I like Tapper's work for ABC News, and I have said so more than once. But when the hell did he became a great TV critic? And has our profession fallen on such hard times that we have to look to the likes of Tapper for guidance?
A more important question: What did you think of Sunday's pilot? And will you be back for more? I saw four episodes, and I am onboard for this ride.
