Dule Hill sounded a little bit like his always-hungry character Gus on USA Network's "Psych" when he came to Chicago this week.

The actor ate a pineapple and Canadian bacon pizza at Giordano's on Thursday and planned to go to Lou Malnati's for more pizza Friday. "Why not?" he said. "I'm in Chicago." (Update: I see from his Twitter feed he made it to Lou Malnati's.)

Hill is in town to promote USA's third annual Characters Unite Month, which builds on its ongoing public service commitment to combat prejudice and discrimination. Hill signed autographs for fans at the "Characters Unite I Won't Stand For" activation in Millenium Park on Friday, but took time out to chat about Season 7 of "Psych," which debuts at 9 p.m. CT Feb. 27.

"Fasten your seatbelts, psychos," he said, "cuz we're coming and we're coming on hard."

In the new season, Gus and Shawn (James Roday)--the fake psychic in the show's title--take on a bunch of challenging cases for the Santa Barbara Police Department. This season marks the show's 100th episode, which is a tribute to the 1985 movie "Clue" that will feature the film's stars Christopher Lloyd, Lesley Ann Warren and Martin Mull. Other guest stars include Cybill Shepherd, Kristy Swanson, Jeffrey Tambor, Katy Mixon, Garrett Morris, Steve Valentine, Curt Smith of the band Tears for Fears and the WWE's Big Show.

"Let me tell you something; Big Show is really big," he said. "I wouldn't mess with him, I tell you that."

Hill was happy with all the guest stars, but especially Garcelle Beauvais and Parminder Nagra. Nagra plays Gus' first girlfriend on the show, and Beauvais plays another love interest. Yes, Gus is getting some lovin' this season.

"It's about time," Hill cracked. "Kissing on Parminder Nagra is realy just a work thing for me; I do what Ihave to do. It's a hard job, but sopmebody has to do it."

Watch the video above for more from Hill.  And don't forget to watch the new season. Gus, who has been called Methuselah Honeysuckle, Watson Williams, Lemongrass Gogoloab and Longbranch Pennywhistle by Shawn in the past, gets a few new names. Maybe one will become your new favorite.
