Idris Elba
The man who played Stringer Bell with power and grace can be seen as the host of a new BBC America showcase called "Dramaville." (Think of the late Alastair Cooke and "Masterpiece Theatre.") Elba will introduce British drama series and films to American audiences each Wednesday night, including the sequel to his own "Luther" in September. He was also nominated for a best actor Emmy for his performance in the detective series. --David Zurawik

Sorry Idris and Jamie Foxx but I refuse to see any movie with that untalented Beyonce. That's why they surround her with talented men to hide the fact she can't act and need to pimp her brand more!!! Sadly no thought the movie was good. All I heard was "That was a good chick fight!" The talk of Dreamgirls was the person who won the Oscar....JHud...poor Beyonce still trying for the Oscar, Grammy and Tony hahahaha

thanx for the update w the photos- i wonder what is the real story w the sun papers and david simon- don't remember the sun honoring the wire at all- only the best tv show ever done in baltimore and one of the best tv series ever-
a prophet is not honored in their own country
does the sun give play to dave simon? to laura lippman?
i think it's disgusting how little the sun relates to the community of baltimore- city paper does a better job- i mean- we may read a rodricks or zurawik becuz they're the only game in town? that doesn't mean their journalism is worth much- they need to dig a lot deeper- in my opinion!!!
never is criticism allowed- mencken is turning over in the proverbial grave
