David R. Stoecklein, author of "Southern California Coastal Mountains to the Sea" will sign copies of his book and answer questions from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Laguna Beach Books, 1200 S. Coast Hwy. His book holds more than 150 color photographs of preserved land and open space in Southern California.
The Woman's Club of Laguna Beach invites you to a "Suffrage Tea" from 2 to 4 p.m. at the club, 286 St. Ann's Drive, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote Oct. 11, 1911. The Jason Feddy Band and John Gardiner will perform "Shakespeare's Fool," songs and speeches from Shakespeare's plays, at the Marine Room, 214 Ocean Ave. The night includes a buffet of Old English pub food at 5 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 at the door.
