Laguna Beach Live! plans to expand its summer music program from once to three times a week at the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach.

Funds for this initiative are being earned through a May 15 performance of the Kristin Korb Trio. The jazz bassist and vocalist is joined by drummer Jeff Hamilton and guitarist Bruce Forman in the band's sole Orange County performance this year.

"We are so grateful to Laguna Live for reaching out to our club and offering such high quality musical experiences for our kids!" Boys & Girls Club Director Pam Estes said in a news release. "Without Laguna Live, there would be no music at all here — and music is such an important part of life."

Doors open at 5 p.m., while the concert lasts from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Aliso Creek Inn, 31106 South Coast Highway, Laguna Beach. Admission is $30 online and a $100 VIP package features premier seating, an opportunity to interact with Korb and a bottle of wine donated by the venue.
