36, COO, Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore
As second-in-command at a local economic-development group, Jennifer Meyer's goal is to "grow business and opportunities in our region." An enthusiastic transplant, she moved to the area in high school and raves about the people and jobs here. Better known as Jennifer Gunner -- she changed her name when she married in April -- Meyer came to the alliance from the Greater Baltimore Technology Council (now gb.tc). She earned her MBA from Loyola University Maryland in 2007, teaches courses there around her work schedule and volunteers on three local boards, including Digital Harbor High School's technology advisory board. On top of all that, she squeezes in time to coach the CrossFit strength and conditioning program.
