Shopping: Women's clothing

South Moon Under Various locations, What started as a tiny surf shack in 1968 has evolved into 21 stores in the Mid-Atlantic. The privately owned chain, with headquarters in Berlin near its Ocean City beginnings, has made a name for itself by offering hip, young, boho-chic-inspired wears at relatively low prices. When hot designers such as Tracy Reese, Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss and Nicole Richie's House of Harlow 1960 pepper the popular store, it's no wonder that our readers voted it Best Women's Clothing. The company's vision of "inspiring self-expression through the art of fashion" and its interaction with customers are key, according to Vera Taylor, the district manager. "When you walk into any of our stores, our goal is you feel you're walking into a friend's family room that just so happens to be filled with amazing products hand-selected just for you." --John-John Williams IV
