1983: Cab Calloway

Baltimore bred Cab Calloway's career took him from the Druid Hill Park neighborhood to the glittering heights of the Big Band era. He starred on Broadway and in the movies. Here he sings "Minnie The Moucher" one of his biggest hits at the Eubie Blake Jazz Festival, held at the Pavillion on Pier Six.
