What makes a music venue great? We could point to acoustics or drink prices, but the answer boils down to who takes the stage. The operators of Rams Head Live not only understand this, but they understand their audience, too. "There's a lot of rock acts that still do really well in Baltimore," Rams Head Live marketing director Brandon Linton said recently. Linton said the key was to find balance between "what your audience wants to see and showing them new things they'll want to see in the future." It also means not forgetting the bands that grew up here. "All Time Low -- if we don't do that, we're going to get phone calls," Linton said. No worries there; the Towson pop-punk band sold out its May 3 show in six hours.
