Banned Books Week: 25 titles you won't believe got banned
Where there are books, there seem to be people who want to ban them. Why? Sometimes it's because there's language they don't like, or ideas they're uncomfortable with. And sometimes... well, it's because people seem to be able to take offense at just about anything. Check out this list of 25 books that have been banned for all sorts of bizarre reasons.

A Light in the Attic, Shel Silverstein
Why it was challenged: A parent was worried that this collection of poems "encourages children to break dishes so they won't have to dry them."

Some parents are stupid and should be banned from deciding if a book should be banned. By gosh dic=scipline your child to your necessary measurements if they break dishes. Don't cause a favorite childs book to be banned. Shame on the justice system too for allowing this banning.
