SHIRLEY JONES TAKES SHORT-TERM ROLE ON "GENERAL HOSPITAL": Just in time for the February ratings push, Shirley Jones, known and loved as the mother on the '70s show "The Partridge Family," will appear in a short-term role on "General Hospital." In 2008, she did the same on "Days of our Lives." And Jones may not be the only celebrity scheduled to visit "GH" this month. There's a chance that a certain former captain of the Starship Enterprise may beam into Port Charles for a quick stopover.
Wyatt's longed for romance with Hope on "Bold and Beautiful" is likely to get even choppier when his ex-girlfriend turns up. Jamie Renee Smith will portray the recurring role of Nicole.
February marks the worldwide release of the first two tales in a series of novellas based on the characters and storylines of "Bold and Beautiful." Available in print and electronic versions, the books are titled "Forbidden Affair" and "Collision Course," and will be followed by two more stories in April.
The newest installment of the "Nashville"-inspired web series "On the Record" will debut an original song called "Dreams," performed by Hayden Panettiere and Jonathan Jackson (Juliette and Avery). It's available online at ABC.com/MusicLounge.
