EILEEN DAVIDSON GONE FROM "DAYS OF OUR LIVES": Actress Eileen Davidson's latest stint on "Days of our Lives" as Kristen Blake is over, just a year after she came back to the series following 14 years away. Davidson has already shot her final scenes, but Kristen will be seen on air until November or December. The Kristen Blake storyline has been wrapped up, so a recast or revisit is not likely for the near future. Nor will Eileen Davidson resume her former "Young and Restless" role of Ashley Abbott.

In happier "Days" news, Kristian Alfonso, who recently celebrated her 30th anniversary as Hope on the series, has agreed to a new one-year contract.

The latest viewer favorite set for a return to "General Hospital" will be Emma Samms, reprising her role as Holly Sutton Scorpio. Samms has made several guest appearances on the soap, most recently in 2012. Holly's storyline and on-air date have not yet been revealed, except that she is expected to begin by late summer.

Two "Bold and Beautiful" stars have become featured players in a web series. Karla Mosley and Lawrence Saint-Victor (Maya and Carter) wrote and produced all eight episodes of "Room 8," which can be viewed at Room8TheSeries.com. The actors portray Scarlett, an unemployed business analyst, and Lance, a budding comic book artist, who become unlikely roommates.
